BREMEN, Ohio – Westerman announced today that it plans to in invest $6.5 million in its current Bremen facility to increase production for energy customers. This expansion will create 210 new jobs with $13.3 million in new annual payroll, more than doubling its current local employee base of 152. Westerman, which is headquartered in Fairfield County, is also expanding to Licking County, building an additional manufacturing site in Hebron. In total, the Bremen and Hebron investments will bring $51.5 million in investment and 345 new jobs and $21.7 million in payroll to the region.
“Energy customers are asking American manufacturers to do more, and Westerman is ready to meet that demand,” said Jacob Garrett, CEO of Westerman. “Adding 210 jobs in Bremen allows us to grow from the foundation our company has built over 117 years. Establishing a dedicated operation in Hebron positions our team to support one of the country’s most important nuclear energy projects. We are investing in Ohio because we believe in the people and communities here.”
Westerman designs and manufactures highly specialized equipment used across the energy sector. The company serves oil and natural gas customers. It also supports nuclear applications that demand exacting safety and quality standards.
