Fairfield County Economic Update to Highlight Regional Growth and Future Opportunities in Industry and Air Travel
The Fairfield 33 Development Alliance invites business leaders, elected officials and community members to the annual Fairfield County Economic Update on Tuesday, Dec. 15, at the Fairfield County Workforce Center in Carroll. Featured speakers are Jonas Peterson of One Columbus and Daren Griffin of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority.

Fairfield County-Based Westerman Announces Investments, New Jobs, and Expansion at Bremen Facility, Expansion to Licking County
Westerman plans to invest $6.5 million in its Bremen facility to increase production for energy customers, creating 210 new jobs with $13.3 million in new annual payroll. With an additional manufacturing site in Hebron, the Bremen and Hebron investments will bring $51.5 million in investment and 345 new jobs to the region.

Fairfield 33 Alliance recognizes Dennis Mingyar for his contributions to Economic Development
The Fairfield County Commissioners recently recognized Dennis Mingyar for his contributions to Economic Development in the region. Dennis recently retired from Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives and has been a long-time board member and supporter of the 33 Development Alliance. We wish him all the best in his next chapter!

Developer plans on-site power plant for $2B data center campus
Advanced Power announces plan to build a 1,300-megawatt natural-gas powered power plant to serve the Vantage Data Center campus in Millersport. Construction will begin in 2026 with a targeted 2029 completion date.

Fairfield County Workforce Center To Host Free Explore Career Camps
The Fairfield 33 Development Alliance and the Fairfield County Workforce Center are thrilled for the return of Explore Career Camps this summer, free of charge for Fairfield County students who will be in grades 6, 7, and 8 during the 2025-2026 academic year. These unique camps will introduce youth to one-week sessions designed to build interest in careers in advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and construction.
