Developer plans on-site power plant for $2B data center campus
Advanced Power announces plan to build a 1,300-megawatt natural-gas powered power plant to serve the Vantage Data Center campus in Millersport. Construction will begin in 2026 with a targeted 2029 completion date.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony today to celebrate the opening of Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Schools’ new NextGen Training Center.
Located on the campus of Fairfield Career Center, the 34,000-square-foot facility will feature state-of-the-art equipment and the latest career-focused programming, providing more students across central Ohio the knowledge and skills they need to jumpstart a successful career.

The Fairfield 33 Development Alliance and the Fairfield County Workforce Center are thrilled for the return of Explore Career Camps this summer, free of charge for Fairfield County students who will be in grades 6, 7, and 8 during the 2025-2026 academic year.
