Recent Projects

  • Groundbreaking for a $35 million medical facility in Canal Winchester owned by Fairfield Medical Center and Mount Carmel HealthCare System
  • Completion of the 315,000 Square Foot U.S. Corrugated manufacturing facility in Lancaster
  • $13 million Diley Road widening project between Busey and Hill Roads in Pickerington slated for completion in August 2009
  • Project announcement for the 90-acre Sycamore Crossing Business Park in Violet Township
  • Aerosport Modeling & Design occupies new 10,000 Square Foot facility in Canal Pointe Industry and Commerce Park with project financing provided in part by the Fairfield County Revolving Loan Fund
  • Meijer opens a new retail location in Canal Winchester on a 55-acre site with more than a dozen outparcels
  • Completion of Fairfield County Airport Authority’s hangar project bringing the total number of hangars to 88
  • Tobin & Associates completes new professional office building in Canal Pointe
  • Site Solution contractors announces project to develop new headquarters in Violet Township with financing support from the Fairfield County Revolving Loan Fund
  • Site development begins for Pickerington Assisted Living, an 86-suite assisted living facility on Hill Road in Pickerington
  • AK Athletics begins operations in a new 20,000 square foot manufacturing facility in the Canal Pointe Industry and Commerce Park
  • Ety Pointe Center in Lancaster opens with a variety of retail operations including Kohl’s, Menard’s, Wal-Mart and Giant Eagle
  • Commencement of EPS’ operations at its new 9,400 square foot facility in Violet Township with a portion of the project’s financing provided by the Fairfield County Revolving Loan Fund

Recent Initiatives

  • Fairfield County Regional Planning Commission begins comprehensive plan update focusing on active transportation and open space with completion slated for 2009
  • Connect Ohio, a partnership between the state of Ohio and a national not-for-profit, Connected Nation, to improve broadband access and related technology for Ohio businesses and residents (www.connectohio.org)
