News Release: Main Street Lancaster Partners with Local Banks on Loan Programs
Main Street Lancaster is proud to announce that $1.5 million in loans has been earmarked for downtown business renovations. Fairfield National Bank, Standing Stone National Bank, and The People’s Bank have each committed $500,000 to the project, which allows downtown businesses to apply for a short term, low interest loan which can be used for renovations, upgrades, and remodeling.
“Working to revitalize downtown is the reason that Main Street Lancaster exists,” said Dr. David Uhl, executive director of Main Street Lancaster. “However, we cannot do it without public and private partnerships. We are very thankful for the partnerships that we have with the downtown banks, and we look forward to many more fruitful partnerships as we continue to move forward.”
Main Street Lancaster is not-for-profit organization with a mission to enhance downtown Lancaster’s business climate while promoting and preserving its historic identity as a center of cultural activity.
