News Release: Local Festivals Make Great Networking Opportunities

It is festival time again in Fairfield County. This community is fortunate to have a number of well run and attended festivals that display why Fairfield County is such a great place to live, work, and play. From a business perspective, the festivals can be an excellent opportunity to advertise and contribute back to the community. Another business opportunity to consider is to cultivate existing or prospective client relationships. There are several festivals scheduled in the coming weeks. The Lancaster Festival, Baltimore Festival Canal Lock Days, Canal Winchester Blues & Ribfest, and the Pickerington Violet Festival all have scheduled festivities starting the end of July and moving into August. These are well attended events that provide numerous opportunities to develop relationships.

Many businesses today have reevaluated their marketing efforts due to the state of the economy. The festivals are a local opportunity for businesses that have scaled back their marketing efforts to reconnect. From performances to exhibits, our local festivals have a vast array of entertainment options to either introduce a prospective client to your community or reestablish a relationship with a long standing client.

As businesses are faced with the challenges of this economy and are looking for ways to strengthen the business environment, please consider the cultural, entertainment, and community focused festivals here in Fairfield County.
