The Austrian Trade Commission provides introductions to Austrian companies looking for importers, distributors and agents in the USA as well as assisting in locating Austrian suppliers of products and services.
“Fairfield County is ideally positioned to collaborate with the Austrian Trade Commission to assist companies in locating here and developing relationships with local companies looking to enter into or expand their foreign market presence.” said Fairfield County Economic Development Director Shane Farnsworth. “Through the efforts of the Development Alliance, Fairfield County is becoming a destination for foreign companies.”
Thomas Schnoell, Austrian Consul General said it’s important to visit the companies of their country because they serve as ambassadors, or the face, of Austria. “All of these companies prove that investment in the Midwest is still interesting and we are sure that we can bring further Austrian companies to the Midwest,” he said.
